Engineering in Early Learning
This training is offered for child care providers in the Denver community. As part of the Denver Preschool Program they are free for you and are meant to help you stay current in all that is happening in the field of early learning.
Registration is available online at ecconnect.ecclacolorado.org. The deadline to register is one week prior to the scheduled training date.
Description: In this four-part series, we will introduce and explore what engineering and investigation-based learning looks like in the early learning environment. Topics include: Investigation-based teaching practices, easy engineering activities and principles, the design process in action, and the physics of common play materials like ramps. You will come away from this training confident in your ability to instill engineering skills and critical thinking in your students!

Clock hours aligned with the Early Childhood Workforce Competencies will be available for all trainings unless otherwise noted. Attendees will receive a certificate at the end of each training as documentation for these clock hours.
