Please note: To qualify for tuition support from the Denver Preschool Program, you must live in the City and County of Denver and your child must be in their last year of preschool before kindergarten. Located in the Washington Park area, St. John's Early Learning Center is a year-round program that serves children ages 18 months through 5 years. The center is part of a larger K-8 Lutheran elementary school that also offers extended school care programming and a summer day camp program (the summer camp is for children exiting kindergarten through 7th grade). The curriculum addresses growth in faith, cognitive learning, social & emotional growth, and physical & motor development. The staff believes that the curriculum must be flexible and creative to respond to the multi-faceted challenges faced by today's children and families. An integrated approach is utilized to prepare young children to succeed in kindergarten and beyond while also supporting the values grounded in a faith-based learning environment. St. John's ELC provides a safe, wholesome, happy environment where children can assemble, work and play Monday through Friday, 7:00am -6:00pm.
