Chris Watney supports individuals, families and organizations through her therapy and executive coaching practice, People and Possibilities LLC. Prior to that, Chris served from 2009 to 2016 as the President and CEO of the Colorado Children’s Campaign, a statewide advocacy organization working to increase access to health care for uninsured children, expand early childhood education access and quality; and improve the quality of our K-12 education system. Prior to joining the Children’s Campaign, Chris served as a spokesperson for U.S. Attorneys General Janet Reno and John Ashcroft at the U.S. Department of Justice, including during the Oklahoma City bombing trials.
Chris is the chair of the Board of Directors of Healthier Colorado, serves as a mayoral appointee to the Board of Directors of the Denver Preschool Program, and as a member of the Board of Directors for Gary Community Investments. Chris has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas and a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado.
