Samantha Jacobson

Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at The Trade Desk

Samantha is the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at The Trade Desk, where she manages non-standard partnerships spanning inventory and data needs. Prior to joining The Trade Desk, Samantha was at Oracle where she managed a global business development and strategy team focused on sourcing assets to power Oracle Data Cloud’s products — Audience, Context, Measurement and Identity — across television and digital, on a global basis. Samantha joined Oracle through the Datalogix acquisition. During her time at Datalogix, Samantha helped to put in place the infrastructure that carries Oracle Data Cloud through to success today – crafting partnerships with the industry’s giants – Twitter, Pinterest, Microsoft, Google, Apple, and others.

Before joining Datalogix in 2013, Samantha held a variety of business development, partner management, and strategy positions at other companies such as eBay and American Express. During these roles, Samantha honed her strategy and consulting expertise working for the business leaders of various companies to help them define their path forward and understand market dynamics. She then moved to more operational roles to help implement these goals through partner management and development working with a variety of clients from restaurants to financial institutions to tech companies.

In addition to serving on the board of the Denver Preschool Program, Samantha serves on the board of New America Schools (NAS), a system of public charter high schools dedicated to empowering new immigrants, English language learners, and academically underserved students with the educational tools and support to maximize their potential and live the American dream. She also serves on the board of Denver Business Series, a community for MBA alumni from the top 25 business schools within Denver, serving over 10,000 members.

Samantha holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in Finance and Management and received her Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School. In her free time, Samantha enjoys traveling, reading, and scuba diving with her husband Phil and their four children.
