Description: Participants will learn the four supportive steps of FLIP IT designed to help young children (ages 3-8) learn about feelings, gain self-control & reduce challenging behavior. The four steps are embodied in the FLIP IT mnemonic, standing for F – Feelings, L – Limits, I – Inquiries, P – Prompts. This strategy will transform best practice into something easy to remember & applicable in many challenging situations. For teachers & parents looking for best practices to reduce challenging behavior in children.
