Utilizing the Emotional Support Domain of the PRE-K CLASS tool as a Blueprint for Brain Architecture
Description: Early experiences affect the development of brain architecture which provides the foundation for all future learning, behavior, and health. Participants will engage in an interactive “brain building” activity that illustrates how life experiences, interactions and toxic stress affect the foundation or wiring of the developing brain. The Emotional Support Domain of the Pre-K CLASS tool will be used to explore teacher interactions that create a strong foundation for learning.
