Expanding Quality for Infants and Toddlers Course

January 226:00 PM - January 227:00 PM

This 48-hour training provides teachers, assistant teachers, directors, family child care providers, and early interventionists with up-to-date information to enhance their work with infants and toddlers, as well as meet regulatory requirements for training by the State of Colorado.  This training is also required for family child care home providers who would like to change their license type. The EQ Curriculum is an introductory and comprehensive course in providing quality group care for infants & toddlers. This course builds on the knowledge and experiences of caregivers through interesting, interactive and fun activities. At the heart of the EQ Course is a belief in the importance of providing responsive, respectful, relationship-based quality care for all infants and toddlers. All participants enrolling in EQIT must attend the Orientation scheduled for their session. Center Directors with staff participating in EQIT are encouraged to attend the orientation.
