Montbello Alive! was created to celebrate the vibrant, diverse, and resilient community of Montbello. Founded in September 1965, Montbello became Denver’s first major annexation of privately owned land, adding over 2,600 acres to the far northeast part of the city. Today, Montbello is a thriving community of over 40,000 residents, proud of its rich history and strong sense of unity.
Montbello’s strength comes from its rich diversity of cultures, experiences, traditions and voices. Montbello Alive! celebrates the people who make this community extraordinary. The festival brings together residents, families, businesses, and visitors for a day filled with live entertainment, cultural performances, local food, youth activities, community resources, and opportunities in a safe and welcoming environment.
