It’s that time again! The state-wide book giveaway, formally known as One Book 4 Colorado, will be back for 2019. Started in 2012, the program gives away over 75,000 copies of the same book to each 4-year-old in the state. We are proud to continue our partnership and see the program evolve through the years, as we welcome in Denver7 and Mile High United Way to launch the next evolution. The name of the program will now be One Book Colorado, A Book for Every 4-Year-Old (OBCO), with a new logo and website, www.OneBookColorado.org.
Voting to choose the upcoming OBCO book will occur in December. We encourage you to have your preschoolers vote on their favorite! The winning book will be announced on April 8, 2019.
As we've done in years past, each of your preschoolers will receive their own copy of the winning book! They will be given out to every child who is in a DPP classroom (whether or not they are enrolled in DPP). Be on the lookout for an email with information on how to order your books! (**Books for DPS schools will be ordered by the central office**)
