Across the world and in the US, children are experiencing the devastating effects of violence. Science has shown us exposure to such violence has a deep and lasting effect on children. Trauma can shape the brain architecture of children for a lifetime and countless families are grappling with how to support their children who may be seeing or hearing about violence.
