Last month, the Denver Preschool Program’s Board of Directors approved the tuition credit scale for the 2025-26 school year. Despite ongoing economic volatility, the scale for tuition credits to support Denver families will remain unchanged from the current year.

Thanks to the voters of Denver, DPP has been helping families find and pay for quality preschool since 2006. The program remains committed to providing consistent, reliable financial assistance to make early childhood education more affordable. Holding the tuition scale flat is one way DPP is helping families and preschool providers plan with confidence.

Each year, the DPP Board of Directors evaluates a variety of factors before approving the tuition credit scale, including the local cost of living, inflation trends, public funding levels and family need. The decision to maintain the current scale reflects DPP’s continued focus on access, equity and long-term impact for young learners.

Families can use DPP tuition credits in complement to Colorado’s Universal Preschool (UPK) program. By participating in both, many families can significantly reduce the cost of preschool and maximize their financial support.

To view the full 2025-26 tuition credit scale, download it here. Families can also use DPP’s calculateur de crédits pour frais de scolarité to get an estimate of the support they may qualify for based on household income and hours of care.

Applications for the 2025-26 school year are now open. Denver families are encouraged to apply today to take full advantage of available tuition support.
