Shaping the Future of Child Care Near DEN

At the Denver Preschool Program, we believe that when childcare providers and community members come together, we create solutions that genuinely meet the needs of Denver’s families. Today, we’re excited to share a unique opportunity for the early childhood community to help shape the future of care and learning near one of our city’s largest employers—Denver International Airport (DEN).

DEN is currently exploring the feasibility of building an on-site early childhood education center to support its employees and their families. As part of this process, they are seeking input directly from the people who understand child care best: providers, educators, and community organizations working on the front lines of early learning.

This is where you come in.

We’re partnering with DEN and our colleagues at Keystone Policy Center to host a series of community focus groups in central and northeast Denver. These conversations are designed to center your voice and gather your ideas around what high-quality, accessible early learning could look like in this setting. Your feedback will help inform the vision for a child care center that meets the needs of working families, respects the workforce, and upholds our shared commitment to quality.
