Despite the challenges of the 2019-2020 school year, Denver Preschool Program (DPP) successfully launched pilot programs to support schools during the COVID-19 crisis and maintained preschool access for nearly 4,900 children. The pandemic underscored the essential role of early childhood educators, leading DPP to focus on ensuring these educators have the resources they need to thrive. Moving forward, DPP aims to reimagine early childhood education to better serve Denver’s growing population and inspire other communities to recognize the importance of preschool.
