Thanks for taking the first step in learning more about Preschool for 3s, Denver Preschool Program’s program to provide tuition credits for 3-year-olds enrolled in a high-quality DPP-participating community-based preschool program. This program does not include Denver Public Schools’ Early Childhood Education programs.
Through our Preschool for 3s Program, we aim to equitably expand access to quality preschool for a limited number of children who turn three by October 1. This program is in addition to our traditional tuition credit for 4-year-olds. There’s never been a better time to be three!
Due to limited funding, not all children are eligible for this program. If your child attends a school that participates in Head Start, please reach out to your preschool provider to apply for Head Start funding first. Due to those available federal funds, we do not offer Preschool for 3s spots for Head Start families. Denver Public Schools’ Early Childhood Education program is also exempt from participating in DPP’s Preschool for 3s.
