We continue to be invested in sharing our insights and learnings with other leaders locally and nationally as they look to improve their early care and education funding and programming. A recent example of this in action occurred in October when Elsa Holguín, Denver Preschool Program’s President and CEO, participated in a panel discussion as part of Early Edge California’s 2025 Early Learning Tour in Denver.
Early Edge California is a nonprofit organization focused on advancing policy changes and investments to improve access to high-quality early education and care programs. As part of their October tour to Colorado, Early Edge California helped California legislators and leaders learn about Colorado’s decades of deliberate and strategic efforts to build an early learning and care system to support the birth-to-five continuum.
The four-day experience included site visits, panel discussions, listening sessions, and meetings with Colorado Governor Jared Polis and Colorado legislators. Elsa shared her deep insights about the early care and education field and Denver Preschool Program’s leadership in shaping universal preschool locally and across the state.
