Denver Preschool Program seeks an Operations Manager to help keep our office and operations running smoothly. This role includes managing budgets, data, office administration, and technology support to ensure our team can focus on expanding preschool access in Denver.

We’re looking for someone who is organized, tech-savvy, and great at problem-solving. If you have strong operational skills and enjoy making systems work efficiently, we’d love to hear from you. Position Purpose 
Oversee daily operations, optimize processes, manage resources, ensure quality control, as well as develop strategies and lead teams to achieve organizational goals.

Position Requirements
Due to the nature of this position and its role in supporting the physical office space of DPP, this position is in-person and on site. This position may also require light lifting of 10-15 lbs of office supplies, communication materials or other boxes associated with the office manager role.

Job Duties

Project Management (70%)
Lead and manage teams, schedules and deliverables in the following areas:
 Bookkeeping and budgeting
 Data analysis
 Health and safety
 Human resources
 Policies and procedures
 Strategic planning

Operations & Technology Support (20%)
 Updates key DPP databases such as provider and external stakeholder contact lists
 Purchases and manages inventory of general office supplies and kitchen refreshments
 Ensures office environment is organized and professional looking
 Serves as key liaison with property manager; makes recommendations regarding changes to space allocation or usage, schedules repairs and addresses and manages all maintenance issues and projects
 Acts as first point of contact for all office vendors and tech support and maintains office equipment including computers, licenses, software and necessary supplies, providing support as needed
 Manage performance of the security system, copier, telephones, internet, TVs, etc.
 Provide computer support to DPP staff, scheduling IT consultants when necessary

Michael B. Hancock Community Room Management (10%)
 Maintains conference room schedules; manages the reservation website; provides technical assistance for conference room meetings including conference calls, projection system and any IT needs
 Coordinate support to guests and coordinate any needed orientation meetings for after-hours meetings
 Supervise the maintenance of the Community Room, ensuring the coffee station is fully stocked and all IT is functioning properly

 Tech savvy – advanced level experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, spreadsheets and development of reports; familiar with conference calling and projection equipment for meetings
 Attention to detail –  demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail
 Adaptable – adapts to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands and is able to deal positively with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
 Dependable – consistent at work; follows instructions; responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance; reliable with a high level of integrity
 Independent team member – proficient interacting with a wide variety of people; comfortable and efficient working with little supervision; self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
 Able to work occasional evenings and weekends for events or meetings if needed
 An associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, business administration, non-profit management or related field is desired

Location: Hybrid in Denver, CO; includes two days of work in the office each week.
Schedule: Full-Time, Exempt Position (FTE). Hiring Annual Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 (Compensation based on experience).
Benefits: Employer-paid health, dental and vision insurance, currently through Anthem. FSA option. Retirement plan with employer-contributions, sick/mental health leave and paid time off.
